What's cool is that the top of the lightbulb kind of looks like a fist. I don't know if it was intentional but it stood out to me, in a good way.

We may have to get people in hazmats out every time we break a bulb, but hey, at least the trees are safe!

I really prefer LED-bulbs. They use even less electricity.

Not to mention, they're brighter, partly due to the fact that they shine a bluish-white, if I'm not mistaken.

Sorry I really can't take the fluorescent bulb as a symbol of tyranny seriously

i don't blame you. this isn't one of my strongest pieces. i sort of envisioned this as something you'd see on a street corner or on billboards in a fictional world...

I actually really like these bulbs, they look brighter. If the light is too harsh they sell little covers to soften the effect. They last pretty long too. They would be a lot greener if China stepped up its safety codes though :\, their laxness is hurting their workers.

My thought, if the green were just a little brighter then it would be even more eye catching.

As of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, standard light bulbs are being replaced by the Expensive, Mercury-filled, Dim/ weak assed, CFL bulbs—which cost thousands to clean if broken.

Do one with the bulb leaking mercury into the water table. That'll be fun.
