this is a propaganda poster for one of my all time favorite books, george orwell's animal farm.
this poster illustrates the initial belief that all animals are equal. this is before the pigs, lead by napoleon gained control and declared that all animal are equal but some are more equal than others. I might do one illustrating that belief at a later date.

i chose to use a cyrillic looking font as part of this design because the book is, in many ways, a commentary on post-revolution russia and totalitarian governments.

the symbols in the corners are part of the official animal farm flag as described in the book and in the cartoon.

I read this book in the 8th grade, and saw the movie both veeeeery creepy. Nice poster, I like how the 'R's turned backward as the animals wrote it in the book. My favorite character was Snowball.

I used this for a Presentation on Animal Farm vs The Russian Revolution for my English class (don't worry, I credited you) and I just wanted to tell you my teacher LOVED it and so do I! The first thing she said when I was done was ask were I got the picture! It really helped thanks!

Brilliant. I love it and the idea of making a poster to depict points in the book itself is great I'd love to see what you'd do for 'A Brave New World or The Handmaid's tale,

This is awesome! Animal Farm is one of my favorite noves, and this poster design really captures the spirit of it.
