After the terrorist attacks in Los Angles and Chicago immediately proceeding the 2008 presidential elections, the alternative media was again suspicious that the American Government was complicit in the attacks.

In response, and in an attempt to stop "political hate speech" the new administration in conjunction with DHS proceeded to implement a long dormant portion of the Patriot Act. This was done under the guise of "...insuring factual and accurate information dispersal to the public". Their motto, "Authority is truth, We are the Authority".

This effectively consolidated all control of media outlets in the country. These included all major television and radio stations, newspapers as well as all Internet service providers ([link]).

Thus in 2010 the United States Department of Media Management was born (making public for the first time the existence of Operation Mockingbird [link])...or as it was known by those who dared report the truth..."The Ministry of Propaganda"

This is not a new world. It is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advancements and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super states that proceeded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace.
We are citizens of this state but will soon have to be eliminated because we are built out of flesh and because we have minds....

Welcome to the last, dark days of the Republic.

Great image, i realise no one has posted about it for ages so i hope you get my message.
i play in a UK punk band called Epic Problem, we are only a little band doing DIY CDs and stuff, i would like your permission to use the design ( different letternig/ bands name etc.)
I would name check you and your work on the sleeve, we would only have a short run of a couple of hundred.
thanks in advance, and its cool if you dont want me to use it. i just think it should be seen.

you know, it's really sad when one has to ask if something like this exist. what i mean to say is, this is america...things like this are supposed to happen in other places...

hahaha! you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. and you definitely don't know me! did you even look at any of my other pieces? obviously not. this piece is satire...do you know what that is?

i do agree with you however. those that would like to institute such an organization (dhs for example) are evil and are overstepping their constitutional limits and need to be stopped.
